The aims and objectives of Lambton Street Fellowship Centre are

Welcome to Lambton Street Youth Centre

Lambton Street Youth Centre is based in Ford Estate, Sunderland, located on Hylton Road playing fields and is one of the oldest youth centres in Europe, established in 1901.

It is managed by an elected management Committee who has overall responsibility for the project. The Committee employs Kevin Howard (Project Manager) who is a qualified Youth & Community worker and is responsible for the day to day running of the centre.

The aims and objectives of Lambton Street Fellowship Centre are:

"To develop the physical, mental and spiritual capacities, that members may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their condition of life may thereby be improved."

The project achieves these objectives through centre based, out of centre and residential activities. The Centre provides a base resource for Staff and Volunteers to deliver a wide range of activities in accordance with the aims and objectives of the organisation.
