Youth Club

logo

We have youth clubs for two age groups 8-11yrs old and 11-19 yrs old.

Our youth group members don't just come to the centre for our sports activities, but also for socialising with and to make new friends, whether it be in the main activities area of the centre, where they can watch TV, listen to music, play on our games consoles, play pool, play table tennis, air hockey, table football and snooker or just relax in our chill out room.

Junior Youth Club 8-11 yr old.
Young peoples youth club runs on Monday night at 4:00pm - 5:45pm

Whilst in the centre the juniors can participate in a number of sports including, football, trampolining, rounders, carpet bowls and volleyball along with others.
Our young members also have the opportunity to display their creative side by working with arts and craft equipment, either designing their own art work or colouring in pre made pictures. They can also work with card, stencils, plastic, paper and many more materials.
We often work in our kitchen with food and drink and encourage the juniors to make their own creations and designs, for example icing biscuits, bread/cake making, pizza design and seasonal edibles.

Senior Youth Club 11-19 yr old
The youth club runs Monday to Thursday at 6:30pm - 8:00pm

On an evening our older young members can also enjoy the same sports as the younger members but also some more advanced sports such as basketball, netball and badminton.
They can also take advantage of our full size snooker table.

Friday Night Youth Club
We also run a youth club on Friday evenings 8:00pm - 9:30pm. This youth club is available to our 11-19 year olds and also our SEN members aged 18-25.

Volunteering

We look to empower our young adults by offering voluntary work, administration duties and assisting with planning events and day trips. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience and learn how an organisation is run which could benefit them while looking for employment.

Holiday Activities
During school holidays we like to provide entertainment for our young members. We frequently arrange trips away from the centre, engaging in events such as cinema visits, 10 pin bowling, ice skating and bike riding.
We also look to organise activities in the youth centre. Bouncy castles, roller disco, trampolining, arts and craft, dancing, pool, snooker, air hockey, table tennis and computers are all available for use.
